Installing Your Home Generator Serving East Texas

Installing a home backup generator is an exciting time. P&L Generators will prepare the installation site outside your home, place the generator, run the natural gas or LP fuel line, install the transfer switch, and make all of the necessary electrical connections. And we will make sure that your backup generator runs properly, and is ready for its first power outage.

Where do I start?

One thing to keep in mind – this is not a DIY project. It all begins with a home visit from us.

We will help you choose the perfect size generator, the right fuel source and the best installation locations for your generator and transfer switch.

What's involved?

Most installations take a day or two. And we will take care of it all. We’ll coordinate a team of licensed electricians and plumbers to make sure the job’s done right.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

1. The licensed electrician will install your transfer switch first.

2. After that's installed, the team will move your generator in place.

3. Electric lines will then be connected from your transfer switch to your generator.

4. Once electric is hooked up, your pipefitter will make the proper connections from the fuel source to the generator.

5. After electric and fuel is hooked up, your generator is ready to start and protect your home or business.

At the time of the site inspection, your sales representative will go over every last detail with you. Don't be in the dark any longer; call us immediately to schedule your free, no-obligation sales site inspection.
