Repair & Warranty
P & L Enterprise is committed to providing customers with unsurpassed product support. Contact us with any product maintenance, repair, or warranty questions you may have. We are factory trained and certified to work on Generac products, even if you didn’t purchase from us.
We offer a semi-annual maintenance on all Generac generators up to 150KW. This includes a full inspection of your unit, oil change (if necessary), coolant change (if necessary), voltage test, and transfer switch test (if requested). We inspect and service the battery, but battery replacement is not included. With a maintenance contract, you will receive priority response in the event of equipment malfunction and service.
Load Bank Exercise
We recommend a biennial load bank exercise for all liquid-cooled generators. We will bring our load bank to your generator's location and run generator for 2-3 hours under controlled load. This service assists us in identifying developing issues and also maintains the peak performance of your machine.
We carry an extensive parts inventory for Generac generators and are also certified to perform services included under a customer's warranty. Often, we will have the part needed to make the repair on-the-spot so you don't have to wait to have your machine back on line.
On units that come with a standard 3-year warranty, you may elect to extend to a 5-year warranty (as is included on the Honeywell line). This service is a great value for the extra peace of mind.
Service Calls and non-Warranty Repairs
Even if you do not have a maintenance contract with us, please feel free to call us if your unit is in need of service or repair. We will provide you with our on-demand service call rate and an after-inspection estimate so you may be sure of whatever charges may be due.
